ElevaTax was founded in 2020 by a team of cryptocurrency enthusiasts and tax professionals who experienced firsthand the complexity of crypto tax reporting. What started as a personal project to simplify our own tax filings quickly grew into a mission to help millions of investors navigate the confusing world of crypto taxes.
We realized that as cryptocurrency adoption grew, tax compliance was becoming a major headache for investors. Exchange data was messy, tax rules were confusing, and existing solutions were either too expensive or too complicated.
So we built ElevaTax - a platform that automatically imports transactions, calculates gains and losses, and generates ready-to-file tax reports. Today, we serve over 500,000 customers across 30+ countries, processing billions of dollars in cryptocurrency transactions annually.
